How do I create a coupon?

Coupons are a great way to win over new customers and trace them back to Raw Food Sources. For maximum visibility, links to the coupons are shown on your Listing Detail page, on the Directory home page, and on the main Coupons page.

Create the Coupon

Log into your member account and from the member home page click on “Add Coupon” (or look for the Coupons link in the left sidebar on other pages of the Members Section)

Headline: enter the name of the coupon; the headline is the text that will appear at the top of your coupon, so be sure to make it descriptive and catchy. (such as “20% off Kitty Food”)
Offer: enter a general description of the coupon (such as “receive a 20% discount on all sizes of Kitty Food”)
Description: enter additional information about the offer (such as “Bring this coupon into our store to receive your discount”)
Conditions: enter any conditions that must be met to receive the offer (such as “This coupon cannot be combined with any other coupons or offers. Limit one coupon per customer”)
Keywords: list the keywords relevant to this coupon, one phrase per line, so that visitors can find your coupon with a keyword search
Coupon Date: enter the valid dates for the offer
Coupon Layout: There are two layout options –

Option A) If you want to incorporate all the details you provided above into a ready-made layout, select the “Our HTML template based coupon” option. Then, click on the Browse button to select the image (such as a logo or product photo) that you want to use in the coupon.

Option B) If you want to use your own graphic image as a coupon, select “A coupon provided by you” instead. Then, click on the Browse button to select your image. If you select this option, the details you provided above such as the Offer, Description, and Condition will be disregarded, and your own graphic will be used as the coupon. This can be jpg or gif, with a maximum size of 500 × 375 pixels and 1.5 MB.

Associate the Coupon with your Listing

Next you will associate your coupon with your Listing. Click on “Manage Listings”, then click on the gift box icon to the right of your listing name. Select the coupon from the pulldown menu and click “Submit.”

NOTE: A showcase listing can only have one live promotion at a time, but you can save others in the Members Section.
